This "Lebaran" holidays, I went to Lembang, Bandung. We go in one group, my wife, my son, and my friends. We all having a great time together.

We stayed at Kampoeng Legok Resort. 

The Kampoeng Legok Resort located in front of Vipasana Graha Vihara. It's the Meditation Centre. It's a very large complex of Buddhis Temple. You should visit when you come to Lembang.

A little bit of tennis history any tennis beginners should know.

For any future athlete that intends to start a new activity, knowing a little bit of history about the sport is always a good idea.

Ball games can be traced back for hundreds and thousands of years. Usually played for entertainment or during religious ceremonies, ball games became highly popular in countless civilizations worldwide. European monks probably created the game of tennis. The players quickly found out that instead of hitting the ball off walls they had better control using their hand. A leather glove was soon created, and not long after, an adapted handle completed the first racquet. As the racquets evolved, so did the balls that were used. A bouncier type stuffed with bran material soon replaced the first primitive wooden balls. The game became highly popular amongst monasteries all around Europe during the 14th century. At one time, the church considered forbidding the game.
In1874, Major Walter C. Wingfield patented in London the equipment and rules for a game fairly similar to modern tennis. In the same year, the first courts appeared in the United States. By the following year, equipment sets had been sold for use in Russia, India, Canada, and China.
Croquet was highly popular at this time, and the smooth croquet courts proved readily adaptable for tennis. Wingfield's original court had the shape of an hourglass, narrowest at the net, and it was shorter than the modern court. His rules were subjected to considerable criticism, and he revised them in 1875, but he soon left the further development of the game to others.
In 1877, the All England Club held the first Wimbledon tournament, and its tournament committee came up with a rectangular court and a set of rules that are essentially the game we know today. The net was still five feet high at the sides, a carryover from the game's indoor ancestor, and the service boxes were 26 feet deep, but by 1882, the specifications had evolved to their current form.
The growth of tennis continued and the 1927 Championship saw the first ever radio broadcast of a tennis event. This increased its popularity further and in the 1930s the game became highly fashionable, led by British stars such as Fred Perry and Don Budge and International Champions such as Henri Lacoste. You'll notice from the photographs that tennis fashions were somewhat different in those days! Long trousers were the order of the day for men, and for women it was long dresses and stockings.
Fashion trends became a development in their own right and Bunny Austin from the USA shocked the crowds in 1933 when he became the first player to step out on to centre court wearing shorts! The 1930's became Wimbledon's boom time and in 1937, the championship was broadcast on the radio for the first time. This was a significant event, truly introducing tennis to the world.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s the game became dominated by the new legion of international players and crowds became captivated by the likes of Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Connors, and John McEnroe. In the ladies game stars such as Sue Barker, Chris Evert Lloyd and Martina Navratilova filled the courts with fans. Britain's foremost ladies player was Virginia Wade, the last Brit to win the Championships in 1977. The prize money went up, as did the hemlines of players clothing! In 1986 the Championships adopted yellow tennis balls for the first time - partly to make the speeding balls more visible for television cameras.

Email you receive will send to 3 different device at the same time, iPhone, Mac, and PC, at the same time. Contact changed in iPhone, will be synchronize with Mac and PC (outlook) at instance.

I hope iPhone will be available in Indonesia soon. I heard that Telkomsel will bring iPhone to Indonesia. Indonesia is a big market for the iPhone 2.0.

Two Days Before Internet Marketing Bootcamp May 2008

I received email yesterday from Asia Internet Academy, which I've enrolled the Internet Marketing Bootcamp, 10th May 2008.
The email required me to download and install tools to be used in the Bootcamp.

OK, I'm all done now.. Ready for the Internet Marketing Bootcamp now...
Hope I can learn and earn much-much more money from it.

Basah deh...

Hari ini saya ke customer. Setelah ngobrol2, saya minta untuk lihat2 di proses produksinya.

Ternyata untuk ke produksi harus jalan lumayan jauh, melewati pabrik yang satu ke pabrik yang satu lagi, juga melewati jalan. Cuaca tampak berawan, hmm tampaknya adem sekali.. :)

Setelah kira2 setengah jam, selesai sudah survey. Sudah mengambil kesimpulan, dan membuat perjanjian untuk kunjungan berikut. Saya pun diantar ke depan, dan calon customer saya mengatakan dia tidak bisa mengantar ke depan lagi.

"OK tidak apa2, Pak, saya ke depan sendiri", kata saya. Tapi begitu sampai di depan pintu pabrik, saya kaget sekali... hujan sangat deras.. dan air pun meluap tinggi. Waktu menunjukkan pukul 14.30. Wah masih sore, hujan deras sekali, air meluap pula, kalau jalan pasti basah kuyup, paling sebentar aja hujan reda.

Ok saya pun tunggu kira2 20 menit, hujan tetap deras, dan air makin tinggi. Wah gawat nih.. :( Tapi saya tetap sabar menunggu, akhirnya hujan agak reda..

Ok, saya pun menyimpan hp dan dompet ke tas (berharap tasnya kedap air hahah)...
1. 2. 3. cemplung, kaki lengkap dengan sepatu dan air pun saya celupkan ke genangan air.. basah deh... sepatu dan celana sampai sebetis..

Saya mau jalan keluar, melewati jalan saya masuk tadi, tapi ditahan sama satpam, katanya pabrik yang tadi saya lewati ditutup karena genangan air, terpaksa saya jalan lagi memutar, dan harus benar-benar di-basah-kan lagi dengan hujan yang masih lumayan (walaupun tdk selebat tadi)...

Alhasil kepala basah kuyup, celana basah, dan baju juga basah.. untungnya tas saya tidak mengecewakan, isi tas (laptop, hp dan dompet) tidak ikut basah hahah...

Baru kali ini saya lihat kawasan industri yang bonafit (MM2100 Cibitung) dengan pabrik2nya yang besar juga kebanjiran...

Virus... virus.. At last I lost..

This time I'm beaten by Virus... W32.Sohanad.AR

I was helping my brother in law, try to clean the virus from his notebook. But after 3 hour of effort (install Avast Antivirus, update, and try to clean). I gave Up. The day after, I re-format the notebook and install windows and setup. Everything is fine. Until my brother in law ask me to clean the USB-Flashdisk that was also infected by virus.

I'm very confident to put the USB Flashdisk in my notebook and open it. My antivirus have warned that there's virus in the drive. And with very confident, I told my brother in law that, this is the virus... "Just don't click it, just delete it, it'll be fine"

But when I said those words, my hand just can't help to click it... :( The virus detected by antivirus, but it managed to copied to my notebook's harddisk. I managed to clean the USB-Flashdisk, and save the files in it. But I found out that my notebook is infected by the virus.

I tried to clean my notebook from the virus. I downloaded few software, "Spyware Doctor", Avast virus cleaner, and Hijakit. Also I read and follow forums that give solution for this matter. But... still cannot, because every time the virus deleted, it keep restoring to it's previous state. Even I used the save mode. It still managed to restore itself.

I learned that there's services.exe that virus created in C:\windows\ and C:\windows\system32\10312A\ But I cannot delete it because it's being used by system. I think I can delete it with command mode (dos mode). But I cannot enter that mode, it keep enter to the windows save mode (even I selected the command prompt only save mode).

Then I use the windows installation disc, and I entered the command prompt (ask me how if you're interested). I can delete services.exe in those 2 folders. But stupidly I also erase the c:\windows\system32\services.exe that is not virus but it's the windows thing (haha very stupid hah). Then, the windows just cannot boot again.

Again I can just copy the services.exe file from the installation disc, but I do a wrong thing again. I try to reinstall the windows. And ended with windows cannot load anymore.

And I end up with re-installing my notebook.... After 4 hours, my notebook back to normal... hahaha.. now my notebook works faster than before.. thanks to the virus... :)) that force me to format and reinstall my notebook..

Virus can sometimes helpful, can make you think, and analyze the problems and system. But virus also make you angry and lost control... While I fight the computer virus, I also fight with the real virus... it's the flu virus that make me do stupid things..

World Sales Mastery 2 - Jakarta, 15th March 2008

Last saturday, I attended, The World Sales Mastery 2, held in Dhamapala Building (Dep Keu) Jakarta. (I take leave for this seminar, and skipped my Boss Birthday surprise party... heheh..).

This is a wonderful seminar. Mr. James Gwee explained very clear about Sales Mastery. How to be the Best Sales... How to get a lot of closing... I like the seminar very much... I'll try to use the technique I learned from the seminar.

Sales process itself is not too difficult when explained by James Gwee with examples, and role plays. Also, the video recording from Indonesia's Sales Practitioner have also give me confident, if they can do it, I can do it too...

Sales is a job, a great job, that can make me be rich... I'll make a lot of money... I believe it, and I'll prove it... (heheh.. go go go... everyone can do it)

Almost Accident...

Today.. I almost become witness of an accident... (Accident did not happened)

As you can see from the picture.. The car stopped bellow the train gate.
Before the train gate went down, the car tried to pass the rail-road, even the alarm had turned on. Unfortunately, the car in front of it, stopped, and let the pessanger out of the car (angkot - angkutan kota - city transport - kind of small bus).
I wonder how they can do that, the sirene was on, I think the car under the gate was very panic.. and last minute before the gate close, the car in front start to go, and the gate went down.

The car under the gate, stay still, and let the gate hit the car... I managed to took the picture, while waiting for the train to pass.. (heheh,.. luckyly it's not me on that car... it's horryble)

Cholesterol's result

Dear Friends,

I went to Pathlab Sunter, Jakarta last Saturday. My Father, My Mother, My Wife and I took test for Blood Pressure Package -- collect my blood and urine. (Great discount!!! only 199.000 rupiah from 499.000)

Today after work, together with my wife I go to the Pathlab and get the result.

The result actually nice.. Everything normal, including cholesterol and uric acid... (maybe because we are vegetarian, everything is in the normal range).

But when we take a closer look, my HDL is not too high (even in the range), and LDL is close to the highest point (185 of 190). I think I don't do enough exercise and eat too much fried food (which is my favorite. hehehe). -- From Now ON.. I'll do more exercise/sports and eat less fried foods... (I Promise)

Tapi saya akan meningkatklan skill Internet marketing saya dengan melakukannya dan juga mengikuti Internet Bootcamp. Saya sudah tidak sabar lagi menunggu untuk ikut Bootcamp (harus tunggu samapai Mei... wow )
